Well we went to watch beach volleyball yesterday morning (usa won) and we watched some men's polo last night, but unfortunately one of our camera's broke. And I lost the memory card which had a whole load of pictures :( It just wasn't the best day).
But other than that, us kids went to the Forbidden City and to a temple. It was really interesting to see all the architecture and culture that went into the emperor's homes. I'll load some pictures up, but hopefully we can make our mood a little better by winning our game tonight against CHINA.

Thanks for the update, Marge. Just finished watching the China game ... WOW, what a nail-biter. How am I supposed to sleep after a game like that. Detail on the image isn't that great on the web so couldn't really tell how legit all those kickouts and 4 meters were. Seemed a little tight to me, but so hard to tell. Congrats to the team, fun seeing Jess on 'TV' ... On to game 2! Keep up the great cheering. That definitely comes through on the webcasts!

Mags...or Marge....so much for your career as a photographer...better stick to water polo? We're enjoying all your comments, and finally saw the game this noon...however I never did find # 8 in the water, so didn't realize Jess was actually playing...the reproduction isn't too good when the game is in session. But the important thing is team USA is looking great! Keep us posted ...this is so much fun!. Love from all, Gramma
MAAAAAARGE! What a fabulous post! I love that pic in front of the Forbidden city, doesn't it remind you of mulan? Like that scene when she's in the emperor's palace? Did you guys take the tape recorded tour too? Hope you're having a GREAT time and I am loving these updates!! Eat some duck and rice for me, and cheer hard!! Love, annie
